Jeorge Benton, known to some as Jae Benear, is a storyteller at his core with a powerful ability to translate raw emotion into compelling visuals, dialogue, and sound. As a filmmaker, digital content creator, and television producer, he’s built a body of work that bridges authenticity with innovation, consistently pushing creative boundaries across every platform he touches.
His award-winning web series Unbothered introduced Jeorge’s voice to the independent film world and quickly became a defining moment in his career. The series toured the festival circuit, collecting multiple awards, and drew co-signs from cultural voices like Charlamagne Tha God, and Jess Hilarious. Their support helped amplify the series to broader audiences, sparking deeper interest and conversation around the project. As the creator, writer, director, and editor, Jeorge brought to life a series that resonated with viewers for its truth, vulnerability, and layered storytelling.
Jeorge’s creative talents extend far beyond independent work. He’s been a trusted presence on the sets of major productions including Love Is Blind, where he served as a camera assistant, and Law & Order: SVU, as well as the Emmy-nominated Couples Court with the Cutlers and the Daytime Emmy-winning Lauren Lake’s Paternity Court. Most recently, he worked behind the scenes on Jamie Foxx’s Netflix comedy special What Had Happened Was, supporting the production team on a large-scale, high-profile shoot.
In television and digital media, Jeorge made his mark as a Producer for Dish Nation, where he led celebrity news coverage and directed talent segments with clarity and precision. His role as Lead Digital Creator at CBS/Entercom Radio saw him reimagining content strategies to reach and engage fresh audiences across the D.C., Maryland, and Virginia regions. During this time, he produced and directed the interactive music series Word Play, featuring artists like Doja Cat, Dave East, and Jorja Smith.
Jeorge also made waves in the music industry, leading creative direction and songwriting for independent artist campaigns that earned radio airplay on WPGC 95.5, racked up hundreds of thousands of streams, and received placements on official Spotify R&B playlists. He has played key roles in performance booking, brand strategy, and promotional rollouts, helping to shape the narrative and momentum behind emerging talent.
